Happy Thanksgiving, you guys!
What’s everybody making for dinner?
Thanksgiving for two, consciously trying not to be gluttons and avoiding dairy when possible (butter excluded):
– Classic Roast Turkey (first time ever making it on my own, 11 pounds)
– Turkey Giblet Pan Gravy
– Basic Mashed Potatoes (with rice milk)
– Pan-Fried Brussels Sprouts with Toasted Buttered Pecans
– 2010 Beaujolais Villages Gamay Noir (perfect pairing with turkey courtesy of our favorite wine shop) followed by a 2007 Tempranillo
No pie, no dessert, no stuffing, no appetizers. It was, in fact, quite nice!
Wait, why no dairy? And how did the turkey turn out?
